Wellington Leonberger Wine and Cheese Festival!  Sunday 21st February 2010

We will meet on Sunday 21 February 2010 at 2.30pm in the Lady Norwood Rose Gardens at the Botanic Gardens.

What to bring:                   Your Leonberger (on a lead, please)

                                               Potluck – please bring a glass and either a bottle of wine  OR  a bottle of alcohol-free drink (for the kids & drivers & teetotallers)  OR  some cheese and crackers

Battle of the Giants Match Competition

To be held at the Rotorua Thermal Holiday Park, Old Taupo Road, Rotorua commencing at 10.00am

A fun get together including Saint Bernards, Newfoundlands, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Pyrenean Mountain Dogs, and of course Leonbergers! There will be a fun match followed by Fancy Dress and games for young and old. There will be a spit roast meal on the Saturday night. Breakfast and lunch is self catered.

Accomodation can be booked directly with the park. Phone 07 3463 140 and mention that you are booking for BOG.

Monday 5th April (Easter Monday) Christchurch Get together

Leo get together and picnic. Please feel free to bring other family members and dogs as we hope to have a great day. Provisionaly to be held at Halswell quarry starting at 11AM. We plan to take a portable BBQ so feel free to bring along a sausage or steak to throw on.

Once at Halswell Quarry, drive to the end of the drive way and there is parking in a paddock to the right. Then if you head back to the drive and then head down the track to the dog park you will see us there next to the water.  There are a couple of picnic tables but please feel free to bring extra seating etc.
